This month in Kensal Green we’ve been focused on growing the community spirit; primarily by holding a socially distanced festival which involved street performers, singers, poetry, bagpipes, violins, and an amazing performance by some original members of the the first Notting Hill carnival on the steel drums. Three hours of sheer delight as the streets of Kensal Green were once again filled with many beaming faces.
The team have also been focusing on building partnerships with local and Brent wide charities, to ensure we signpost our neighbours to help that is already there. This month we had a collection of baby clothes and equipment for Little Village, our community were so generous it was inspiring.
