The BSF has deeply impacted how we operate at KGMA! Most of our applicants are neighbours who receive long term support from the group, with the grant being just one string in the bow. It helps us to build relationships with neighbours over the long term, and ensure they receive the wider support they need.
We recently “ran the Brent border” as a group to raise almost £1500. We didn’t walk around the actual border, but maybe one day! Each participant committed to running or walking the distance of the borough’s border over the course of a week. Our youngest runner was 15! We are hoping to do more, as we have lots of regular applicants in our area.
